Our Shipping and Delivery Policy
Here you will find our shipping and delivery policy for the United
States and locally for the Greater Chicago Area.
Ordering for the Chicago Area
We will deliver to most of the Greater Chicago Area provided
it complies with this delivery policy.
- At Madeline’s we require a 48 hours notice for all baked goods
(extra notice required during the holiday’s and for large orders).
- We have a 48 hours cancellation policy.
- We do deliver with in the Chicago Area and some surrounding
suburbs and a delivery charge may apply.
- We deliver Monday thru Saturday. We are closed on Sunday.
Shipping Outside the Chicago Area
- All of our baked goods are made fresh for your order.
- Since our food items are perishable, we cannot be responsible
for the quality of any package left without a signature or if the
recipient is not available on the first shipping attempt.
- All food items are shipped via FedEx or UPS overnight or second
day only. The shipping method(s) that are available during checkout
are based upon the most perishable item in your shopping cart.
- We do not ship on weekends or Mondays. Orders placed by 2pm CST
Tuesday through Thursday will ship the next day. Orders placed
Friday will ship on Tuesday. Please consider this when deciding when
you want your delivery to arrive.
- Currently we cannot deliver on Saturday.
- Orders will automatically be upgraded to next day air when being
sent to a destination where the temperature is above 80 degrees
Fahrenheit. A $5 surcharge will be placed on orders if we feel an
insulated box and ice packs are necessary due to excessive heat.
- We cannot ship to PO boxes. Please provide us with a valid
street address.
- A $5 fee will be charged for any incomplete or incorrect address
as imposed by our shipping services.
